Our Story
Born from a Love of Egypt. Built for Those Who Travel Differently.
We are not a tour operator. We are a small team of obsessives — Egyptologists, desert guides, and travel directors — who believe Egypt deserves to be experienced without compromise.
The Beginning
It Started with a Question Nobody Could Answer
Our founder spent years leading academic expeditions through Egypt's most remote sites. Again and again, he encountered travellers who had come to Egypt with high expectations and left with something less — crowded temples, rushed itineraries, guides reading from scripts.
Highend Egypt Tours was built to answer a different kind of question: what would Egypt look like if every detail were designed for a single traveller, with no compromises? The answer became our company.

Access Others Cannot Offer
Our relationships with Egypt's antiquities authorities, private landowners, and cultural institutions open doors that remain closed to standard tours. We arrange after-hours temple access, private museum viewings, and encounters with working archaeologists.
Expertise at Every Level
Every guide we work with holds a postgraduate qualification in Egyptology or a related field. We do not use generalist guides. Your companion on the ground will know the difference between the 18th and 19th dynasties — and why it matters to you.
Absolute Discretion
Our clients include heads of state, cultural figures, and private families who require complete privacy. We do not publish client names, itineraries, or photographs. What happens on your journey stays with you.
Craft Over Scale
We limit ourselves to a small number of journeys each year. This is a deliberate choice. It means every itinerary receives the attention it deserves, and every client receives a consultant who knows their journey intimately.

Dr. Karim Hassan
Karim holds a doctorate in Ancient Egyptian Religion from Cairo University and has led over 200 private expeditions across Egypt, Sudan, and the Sinai. He has consulted for the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities and contributed to three major archaeological publications.

Isabelle spent twelve years as a luxury travel director for a private members club before joining Highend Egypt Tours. She oversees every client relationship from first enquiry to final debrief, ensuring the journey matches — and exceeds — the vision.

Omar El-Rashid
Omar was born in the Western Desert and has spent three decades guiding expeditions through Egypt's most remote landscapes — the White Desert, the Great Sand Sea, and the Gilf Kebir plateau. He is the only guide we know who has crossed the Sahara on camelback.
